London is calling!
London is always a great idea, especially in summer! ☼ We had 3 days to explore this beautiful city. We stayed at the Smart Russel Square Hostel, which is in a nice area and close to the subway Russel Square station. If you are traveling on a low budget, this is the hostel we would recommend for you. The hostel itself is cheap but doesn’t actually feel cheap. It is located in a central location in London. Restaurants, shopping, and a lovely park are all within walking distance. We bought an Oyster card (£5 deposit) to use public transportation, which is really easy to navigate in London. We topped up the Oyster card with cash at a ticket machine from time to time. We preferred taking the bus as much as possible. This way, we were able to see more of the city. And the double-decker buses are just as amazing as we thought they would be! On the first day we visited: Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Big Ben, Palace of Westminster, and Trafalgar Square. And …
